April 2018This publication is in development and will contain approximately 150 photographs and 20,000 words of text including interviews with people encountered on the 8,000 mile journey, covering 13 states made during the end of the 2016 US Presidential election.
Monday Market Wet Proofs
February 2018The Monday Market wet proofs have been received from Toppan Leefung Printing Ltd in China. Once signed off the production of the 2000 copies of the book will proceed with a final delivery date. Confirmation of the book launch dates both in Aylsham and in The Photographers’ Gallery Book Shop London coinciding with the Tish Murtha exhibition will follow.
Trump Piñata Calendar 2018
January 2018A 2018 wall calendar has been designed and produced using images of the 12 piñatas and is available at the Whitechapel Gallery bookshop in London. It is presented in an A3 gold foil envelope decorated with stickers. This is a limited edition of 110 copies was designed by Dan Wescott and printed at MJCP London. June 2017Following his 8000 mile journey around the USA in November 2016 coinciding with the US presidential election, Ben Elwes is producing a book with the working title: God Bless America. The presidential election November 2016. A photographic journey through a divided USA. This publication will contain approximately 150 photographs and 20,000 words of text including interviews with people he encountered during the journey.
20th Anniversary of Museo de la Ciudad, Querétaro, México
February 2017A group exhibition takes place at Museo de la Ciudad, Santiago de Querétaro, México, supported by the Instituto Queretano de la Cultura y las Artes, Querétaro.

November 2016During the month of November 2016 and coinciding with the US Presidential Election, Ben Elwes travelled over 8000 miles by car in the USA making a photographic record of his journey. This is being developed into a forthcoming publication.
